Why taco seasoning? The food here is kind of bland. I know that what I used to eat was sometimes really bland too, but they don´t really use spicy spices. Most of the seasonings here are more mild, not spicy-hot at all. Tacos are mainly a Mexican thing. The food here is so much different from Mexican food, a lot more Italian. Lots of meat, also, potatoes, mayo and dulce de leche.
I'm glad you met Matias on Facebook. He understands a lot of English. His wife actually teaches English, but mainly talks in Spanish to us. But whatever you try to say to Matias, I think he will be able to figure it out.
Big change that happened just yesterday: transfers. Elder Wallace "died" (went home)... sad for me. And I got a new companion... Él se llama Elder Marambio! Él es de Chile!! I will be for sure constantly be speaking un poco ingles y mucho castillano! Not just for three days but for six weeks plus!! Ha ha, I don´t know how long I will be with him but chances are for a while.. :)
Mom, I remember you gave me a talk to read when I was in my slum-constant video game stage... (haha). At least, I think that´s when you gave it to me. But I think it was a talk based on being anxiously engaged in a good cause.. if you can find that talk, will you send it to me? I learned something really interesting today kind of pertaining to that topic, it hadn't really hit me until now... I´ve learned a lot in the mission field so far. I can honestly say this is the hardest thing I have ever done. I know a big part of it is that the Lord shapes his missionaries how he wants them to be. I´m not quite done, haha, and I have found things to change.
I love you Mom. Thank you for teaching me the things I need to know.
P.S. Thanks for the pictures. That´s a nice new grill Shane has, haha! Wow!
