About our zone conference, it was from 10 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon, with lunch in the middle. It was the zone conference for the three zones of Bahia Blanca. Coronel Suarez is 2-3 hours away from Bahía but we are still in that zone. It's part of the reason why I have district meetings in Bahía. But this is one big meeting where we talk about what has happened in the past to transfers, evaluate what we can do better, and set the goals to do better. And Presidente Detlefesen talks for a good portion of it. It was really great, actually. There is a mission goal for 1000 baptisms in the year 2011, and we need 250 more to reach this goal. So that was on of the evaluations/goals that we had. Also, "barrio" basically means "neighborhood". In Spanish, they use the word barrio for Ward also. But Barrio Hospital is the area and the house in that area is where we slept for one night. It's the area of our district leader, Elder Wells. And yes there happens to be a hospital there but we weren't IN the hospital so it´s all good... haha.
Locutorio is just the name of a place with phones, computers, candy... We call them Cybers (ceebers).
I gotta go Mom. I love you!!! Thanks again for sending me the packages :) I could use some cool green paisley ties...
