Haha, Yes you can throw the cups away! Those were just cups that I always filled when I left Golden Corral after work every night... I thought I threw them all away...
Santa Rosa: Capital of the Province of "La Pampa". The biggest city in the province of La Pampa and parece como New Mexico or Baja California :) There is a cool laguna (a lake) about ten minutes from our house walking... In this whole city, there is one Stake and as part of the Stake, there are nine Wards I think... including some surrounding towns. Things are relatively expensive here because it's kind of out of the way from everywhere else. The food is pretty expensive, (so was Tandil).
There was a Continental race that recently passed through here. Every year, there is a giant rally race in South America called DAKAR. It's a race for 15 days where they have a lot of rally race cars, dirt motorcycles and everything. This year, they started from the bottom of Paraguay, went down into Argentina, through Chile, and back up through Peru. It's huge. And this summer, it passed through Santa Rosa.
Elder Perkins is a funny Elder. Wants to work. And is good friends with pretty much everybody. He's the third companion that I have had that has been a new missionary--doesn't have a whole lot of time here. I'm only starting to get some time here. And with every new missionary, including my self, there are always some challenges in the beginning, just getting used to being a missionary and fufulling what you need to do. But luckily we get a long pretty well :)
I'll have to get pictures, but we live in a pretty big house. It's a lot smaller on the inside because in reality, it's four separate apartments, but on the outside looks like a big yellow Fresh Prince mansion... haha!
I'm going again to Bahía tonight for another capacitación de lideres. Whoo hooo!!!!
I just barely found out that my comp Elder Perkins was in the same district as Brett Moore when Elder Perkins was in Kansas... he got his visa late, so they sent him to Kansas for a bit. Interesting, huh?
Hey Mom, I think I need some new clothes... along with that rugby jersey hahaha :) As you saw, almost all of my shirts are really big now, and I would like to have just two more white shirts that will fit a little better. Also, some more money letters? I had to use most of that money in my account for food and stuff..... sorry...
(to Wyatt from Mom) You wrote last week that Elder Perkins is a "capo", but we can't figure out what that means. I asked Walker what "capo" means in Spanish, and he said "hat". When I told him that I was pretty sure you weren't calling your companion a "hat", he said that he was probably wrong about that, haha. Google translate doesn't know what it is, either, and suggested I learn Italian. Please elaborate :)
Capo means, like... somebody is really cool.... really does what he does well.
I love you!!! Chow
