(from Mom) Yay, you got another package! ONE of the packages I sent (sounds like one that you haven't received yet) has a couple of things of Hamburger Helper, and since it was a flat rate box, I was trying to fit as much in as I could, so I took the inner packages OUT of the boxes, flattened the boxes (and still included them so you'd have the instructions) and then labeled the inner envelopes with a Sharpie so you would know which powdered sauce went with which meal. Unfortunately, just this weekend, I found one of those packets in the guestroom where I did the packaging, marked "Stroganoff".... which means that one of the Hamburger Helpers that I sent to you is incomplete! Sorry about that! I will send it with the next box... who knows, maybe they will both show up at the same time :)
Yeah, I got the package with Hamburger Helper the other day and the PANDA ORANGE CHICKEN SAUCE!!!! NO WAY!! Another Elder from Utah almost knocked me out for that bottle of sauce, hahahaha. I'm SO going to make orange chicken soon.. We made some Hamburger Helper the other day, by the way.. fantastic.. Oh and yeah, I noticed the missing stroganoff packet, and what you sent me was two sauce packets that said "Philly Cheese Steak" haha, but it still worked :) The Reeses were fantastic, also the very expensive crackers :) .... Slowly but surely these packages are coming, haha.
We are going to Bahía again tonight because tomorrow is Super P-Day!!! Where all the missionaries in the Bahía Blanca side of the mission are going to Bahía and we're having a gift exchange and basketball game, and I don´t know... But it´s gonna be awesome! And then we have another district meeting the next day which is another opprotunity to see if any more of these incredible striving care packages have arrived haha :) So yeah.
(from Mom) Speaking of packages, please consider WHATEVER shows up before Christmas, to be a Christmas package.... the stuff that I have tried to send that is Christmas-y in nature (typical Koeven stocking stuffers and happy crappy, WILL NOT arrive in time, and isn't what you asked for anyway. But we're still depositing Christmas money in your account today. I really wanted to send you Martinelli's Sparkling Cider, but apparently that was just crazy-talk, financially AND practically. So I messaged Elder Fuentes' sister about it, and sent her a picture of it, in hopes that you can find something similar down there and get some for Christmas:
Cindy Koeven Wardell/Juliana Fuentes:
"Hi Juliana! Can you help me? This is a picture of Wyatt's favorite non-caffeinated beverage, Martinelli's Sparkling Apple Juice. It's like apple juice or non-alcoholic apple cider, and it's carbonated. We often use it for occasions when others might use champagne, because it is packaged in a pretty green bottle with a gold foil-wrapped twist-off cap, it's completely overpriced, and it's sparkly :) Wow, I feel incredibly gullible, just reading that! Nevertheless, wondering if you have anything similar in Argentina...?"
"Yes, of course we have! It is called SIDRA :) There are many brands of non-alcoholic "sidra" such as "REAL" "Victoria" etc. We drink it at Christmas time. (at the famous Toast we make). We have also something called " Ananá fizz for kids" jajaja.. Personally I don't like it. Here in Argentina, Sidra does not cost so much but I am not update as regard prices (maybe a 2 dollars or 3). At Christmas time, prices goes down... I hope this can help you! :)"
Martinelli's haha thanks mom... I think I know what the Sidra stuff is that you´re talking about...
I hate to say this but we are a little rushed today so I will talk to you on the phone Sunday!!!
1:00 PM MST! I love you!!! -Elder Koeven
P.S. Tell Bishop to check his email!!
P.S.S. Thank you for everything Mom!!!
