Hi Wyatt, Sorry, not writing much today. I'm sickkkkkkk.... and whiny. Walker is sitting here waiting to take me home from work, and I already turned down his offer of a Whopper Junior, no onions, with cheese, so you know how sick I must be :) I love you.... you write lots to ME today, instead of the other way around.
Love you, Mom
P.S. Did you get the Reese's Puffs?
P.S. Make sure you write to Walker today, he is sitting here
threatening not to write to you again until he's in Spain, if you
don't.... :)
Y bueno... Qué se va a hacer... I just sent him a letter...
I did get the Reeses Puffs and have already eaten one box... They are fantastic... I received both boxes.
So the leaders of the mission went to Bahía for a leadership conference this last Wednesday and Elder Viñas, the area Seventy ,was there. It was really great. It raised my hope and excitement for the coming weeks. He stood up and the first thing he did was ask if anyone had any questions. One of the missionaries gave him a question and he just started talking, and while answering that question taught different principles that taught everyone else something. And then he said "next question" and just kept going, it was really great.
I feel really bad lately because I feel like a jerk. I think I've been kind of rude to my comp because I've been taking a lot of things personal and just getting irritated for every little thing. Whether I'm right or not, I know I shouldn't have that kind of attitude. I haven't been like this for a while and I'm going to stop because it doesn't make me happy.
The biggest desires are to make sure that we are finding a bunch of people, teaching them well and helping the branch to grow... We're working on it... :) I love you mom...!!
P.S. You asked before.... The mission is set up into specific "Zones" and in those zones there are "Districts". So we may say, that the chain of command is... Mission President- Zone Leaders- District Leaders- Missionaries (trainers and other missionaries). And sometimes the district leaders train new missionaries. And something that I just realized.. after this week I will have had 13 months as a district leader. So looks like there's still something to learn and a lot of work to do... It's nice to know that you are in a position where you can help others in their purpose... I gotta make sure I'm doing a good job.
