What's up? I leave the MTC on Monday… From what I've heard, President Jackson is interviewing all of the missionaries going to the Madrid Mission on Monday to see if they fit the area he's assigned to them. I'm getting pretty anxious, I could stay in Madrid, I could go south to Toledo, I could go north to Segovia or I could get sent to the
Canary Islands, only time will tell.
My Spanish is really coming along, I feel that way anyway… We teach
fake investigators (who are our teachers here in the MTC) and the last few lessons have been flawless. I can go in with something prepared, but we're taught to TEACH PEOPLE, NOT LESSONS, and I have to switch things up in the middle of the lesson. I find myself saying things that I never even knew that I knew how to say, it's amazing how it all works. The gift of tongues is real and I pray for it each and every day, that the Lord will loosen my tongue.
How are things at home? I got an e-mail from Wyatt, Nathan, and Nick Shrum this week and it was great to hear from them! Wyatt seems to be doing well, they all seem to be doing pretty well actually, so that's always great to hear. I sent a letter out this week to Wilder, I sent it out either Monday or Tuesday, I can't remember which so expect that pretty soon over there, maybe the end of this week or beginning of next.
It's early now, I'm sure that I will hear from you later today when I get online… So that's just a quick update. Also, I get the chance to e-mail again on Monday after I find out where my new area will be so expect something around then.
I love you, Mom! Hope to hear from you soon!!
