YES, the Prince of Egypt soundtrack if you can still find it...
Lord of the Rings/Return of the King soundtrack (Elder James says it's the best) ...
And along with the Pirates of the Caribbean, Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and 4 ...
I would also like some of those more slow-tempoed Apocalyptica songs.,. (Fade to Black, and the other really good one haha... )
Oh, make sure that DR. WHO song is on there (that's already on iTunes. Wilder should have it on his iPod also)
And I know this is really vague, but if you can find some other good soundtracks from movies with the more missionary appropriate songs... I honestly can't remember any other stuff that I would want... haha. But I trust you. Just make sure the majority isn't Christmas music... :D
If you can make sure that the All State music for when I was in that All State choir is on there, that would be amazing.... if it's not on there, ask Audrey Dixon or someone else from the choir, they should have the CD.
A couple things on the playlist that I DON´T want--well, that I would like, but don't want at the moment (haha) are..."Twist and Shout", and "Piano Man"... :)
Yeah, I don't know if you paid attention to some of the themes in conference yesterday and Saturday, but I remember the theme about holding grudges and having contention among family, etc. I kind of felt like that was a little bit of a prophesy, and applies to some people we know... It's the perfect opportunity to just let it go, like you said. A Spanish term that we use a lot is "ya fue" which means (directly translated) "it already was". In the contextual sense, it means something like "oh well, it already happened" or "it's in the past".
Whenever something happens here, and I'm talking to the Colombian Elder Miranda, we always end up saying "Oh ya fue no importa"... so yeah, some things irk me too, but...... ya fue :)
Nathan Hall in the MTC with David Archuleta, huh? :) We've been talking here a little bit, too, about where David Archuleta will go also, but we've come to the conclusion that there is no way he's going to New York. He's gonna go somewhere where he won't be followed, haha. But he was in the conference choir, eh? We didn't see him.
We loved the conference, though. Especially when Elder Christofferson said "translate that", haha. WE also thought for a second that Elder Ballard was going to pull out the real Liahona hahaha. This time we had a separate room for the English speakers, luckily, and it was a lot of fun. We have some really fun Elders here in Tandil :)
BTW I got a new companion!!!! Elder Runyan went to the office in Bahía and Elder SHREEVE came to replace him. He's way cool and he's a huge snowboarder!!! I'll tell you more about him later but at the moment I gotta go!
Love you!!!
P.S. When you send the package, try to track it. Elder James' mom sent a package a week ago and it's already cleared customs here in Argentina!! Maybe it'll help? Chau!
