The shoes are perfect. I have been wearing them everyday since, and have been looking at them while I walk every once in a while. It's awesome... They are just what I wanted. Thank you.
Thanks for updating the MP3 player. I would have loved to have the Halo Reach Soundtrack but I didn't really think I should have it, haha... Funny story: On Friday, when I got the shoes and MP3 from Isaias, I was looking at what you put on the MP3 and an ALICE IN CHAINS song popped up!! It went from like calm Enya and Josh Groban to hard Alice In Chains rock, hahahahaha! I think you accidently put that on there or somebody thought I needed the flask of hard rock... *
OK, I will call you at 4:30 p.m. your time on Sunday. Because that will be 7:30 p.m. for me and I'll have to be in the house at nine. So yeah. Just leave Skype on and I'll call you. I think I'll use Elder James' account or something because I don't have one. I have your account, so I'll just call you.
Back up plan: Saturday at 4:30 p.m. your time. BECAUSE this Friday transfers come, and the possibility is up in the air that I'll get moved out of here...
BTW, the rugby jersey I want is 359 PESOS.... so that would be less in dollars... will you check the exchange rate? I need to see how much the shorts are, but I'll let you know. We'll be talking this weekend anyway..
Honestly there have been a lot of things going on lately, starting studies, organizing baptisms, teaching people. In the last week, there were a lot of things to do and it just was a lot harder than it should have been. Also, it doesn't really help that at the beginning of this transfer (5 weeks ago) we moved into a new house that didn't have gas and electricity. We have electricity, but it's from this little cord and it can't support anything that takes a lot of electricity... just the lights and cell phone chargers. So we don't have any functioning appliances at the moment.
When we rented the house it was the "Holy Week" (Catholic holiday) and the electricity place and gas place closed for the whole week, so for that week we didn't have anything. And then we found out that WE had to ask for the gas, for example we have to go to the gas company and say that we want gas, because they don't let the landlords have more than one gas bill, something like that. So that means that the Church (Pres. Detlefsen) would have to ask for gas and electricity, but he is 6 hours away in Bahía Blanca.
So this was the plan from 5 weeks ago, that the Pensionero (Elder that takes care of all the apartments) would send me a paper with the signature of Pres. Detlefsen that gives ME permission to sign the paper and get gas and electricity for our apartment. And that the paper would arrive in a package, which is totally fine because we get a package from the mission office every week anyway.
But this is the problem... IT'S BEEN 5 WEEKS, almost a whole transfer... In 5 weeks I have had like 3 or 4 actual showers! Because of this, and the fact that we don't have everything for the house, (bookshelves or anything) we are suffering a little bit. We've been pretty good until now because the members have helped us out with a lot of stuff, and we haven't really been murmuring........ haha.... but when it gets to the point that we've been waiting so long for a piece of paper, we aren't too happy. Honestly, we've been able to deal with it, but I think just a lot of this little stuff has started to affect us... I don't know, but stuff isn't the best at the moment...
But anyway!!! I gotta go, I love you y nos vemos Domingo!!!
* (from Mom) Alice in Chains?? I went back and checked the playlist, and there is no Alice in Chains on the list. Still no idea how that happened!
