Yes, we will be able to Skype next week for Mother's Day. My companions say that we are going to Skype after church is over. Our church ends at 1 here, then we will go home and eat lunch, then we will Skype around 3pm here, which I believe is about 4pm in Utah. Sign me out of Skype this week, I will be Skyping from my iPad and will just have to log into my account from here. I would have much rather preferred to Skype towards the end of the night, but my companions have warned against that, they say that it's best to Skype mid-day, then follow is up with some lessons to get us back focused into missionary life... They say it will keep us from "trunking" out too bad. "Trunky, or trunking" is a term used for home sick, or longing for something/somewhere else here as a missionary, I think it's a stupid word, I'm not too fond of missionary lingo in general, the whole "be born at the beginning of your mission, and die at the end, or have a "father" as a trainer, you being his "son"... Can't stand it! Oh well, it is what it is.
The Laughing Cow was great to get, it made the trip, but it didn't make it to the end of the night... I couldn't stop eating them, they were so good, thanks! Don't worry about sending anymore shorts, either, I'll be fine with what I have, and if I need them (which I probably won't) I will just buy some when I get to Spain. I will NEED that suit, though! Thanks for being on top of things for me.
Speaking of Spain, a week from this moment and I will be on a flight over! I went to downtown Los Angeles last week to the Spanish Consulate office and picked up my visa, I was also given my travel itinerary. I will leave on the 12th from LAX and fly to JFK in New York, a 4 hour layover there, then I will make my way over to Barajas in Madrid. I'll land in Madrid on the 13th where I'll be greeted by President Jackson as I step off of the flight. I can't wait to see him again. I can't believe it's finally here, either... Been waiting a year for this day to come, and it's almost here! Hooray!
I love you, Mom. I will talk to you again soon.
Love, your son.
