coming to the Spain MTC too! I think that's what I heard anyway.
Yes, I see Crayton and Tyler everyday… I love those Elders. I'm happy that they are here in Madrid with me, they are in the other zone so we don't do the same things, but they sleep just down the hall from me and we talk and eat breakfast together everyday.
Cleon Skousen is the Cousin (or Uncle) of Elder Skousen's Dad. Does
Shane know Cleon Skousen? Is that why he asked? Sounds like someone from Star Trek.
Thanks for the money, I really appreciate it. Things are so
expensive here in Europe, it's out of hand! I sure am grateful for
the way the church handles missionary finances. I'm assuming that I'm going to get my new debit card next week, I ran into the Elder here in the PAVONES (that's what the area I'm living at is called, it´s about 10 miles outside of downtown Madrid) area and they told me that they get 162€ every two weeks… So that's good. They say that it takes care of them really well, which is really nice to know. The ward they serve in is the most active ward in Spain, but at most they only get fed like twice a week.
I'm so glad that you saw the video! I didn't even know that they took
the video… I was pretty excited when I was told this morning that it
was put on youtube, that's pretty awesome. Maybe it will go viral and
the Spain Missionaries will be known around the world. You heard it
here first! Anyway, I'm glad that Sara sent that your way. Speaking of tunes… yes, I miss them. Elder Dansie has an Enya soundtrack we jam to in the morning while brushing our teeth. Glorious. I'll be fine, though.
Alright I have to get rolling pretty soon here, we're having a zone on
zone soccer match today that's going to be rather amazing. Soccer is a
lot of fun, never thought I'd ever say that but I love it! It's nice
to get out and run around a few times a week.
I love you Mom! You're the greatest, thank for all that you do for me
and all of the support you send my way. I'll e-mail you once again on
Monday, hopefully I'll know where I'm headed when I send that to you.
Things are great, I'm growing so much…. It's amazing. I'm sending a
couple of photos to you too. Brief explanation why my name tag says
Elder Koevén… Everyone pronounces it wrong, so a teacher suggested an accent mark… So I did it, and it worked! Looks pretty cool! Alright, time to go! I love you! I will talk to you Monday!
