I'm grateful yet again for your sense of humor, I found myself literally LOL-ing a few times while I was reading that e-mail. It's crazy that everyone is going to be together up there in Logan, and that Grandma and Grandpa were already home, seems like just a little bit ago I was living with them as I was going to USU. Pretty sure I'll be saying the same thing later down the road when I return home from my mission. Everything is faster in retrospect. Jade comes home in October, that's crazy to think about, too! Anyway, my time is now and I'm here now. Just need to learn how to get lost in the work, I'm still working on forgetting myself, it's an incredibly hard thing for me to do. I'm sure I will get there, though, just need to be patient. So much patience as of late. I'm having to be even more patient with my lack of Spanish ability than I had anticipated, I've been getting so many headaches, I just can't comprehend what these people are saying. I'm in California, too, so the heat with the added frustration has been miserable for me, but I'm still adjusting, it'll come. That's something I've heard more now than at any other time in my life... It. Will. Come. No matter how hard or how far away it all seems, it'll come.
Thanks for digging around my room to find the things that I forgot, thanks for looking out for me. Who's SD cards do I have then? I noticed that they were different than the ones I took the first time. Want me to mail the ones I have now back to you? Let me know.
Elder Buchanan looks nothing like Justin Bieber, Leonardo was drunk, we dropped him as an investigator after that meeting.
I like the fact that I grew up where I did, it's home. I'm actually not liking East Los Angeles at all. My favorite part about it, well my two favorite parts are the street tacos there are on every block, and the fact that the LA Dodgers Baseball field is in our mission nearby, I haven't been there, or seen it, though. I want to visit before I go to Spain, though... One of these P-days! That'll be my LA souvenir, too, an LA Dodgers Baseball cap. There's a lot of mariachi music here, this is probably what Dad pictured hell to be like, haha.
There are times when I like being in a trio, and there are times when I don't. I love both of my companions, though. Elder Ingram is from Bluffdale, UT, and Elder Buchanan is from 3300 South in Salt Lake, he went to Olympus High School, he's still 18, too. They're both a lot a fun to be around, we get along well. I love the fact that we can always have a good time with each other, but during our lessons, we sometimes have a tough time with keeping things smooth, don't know who's going to talk when. Oh well, it's nice, they're good.
I love you, Mom. I'll talk to you again soon.
